This is easy to set up. All you do is switch it on on the bottom, and peel off the protective plastic from the solar panel on the back. It automatically comes on when it senses darkness. This little statue is really cute and it looks cute in the dark as well. It's about 8 inches high and nicely painted. I love the detailing with the texture for the fur as well.

I ordered this as a gift for a relative who loves bears and especially bears for her yard.
The figurine is weighty and seems sturdily built.
This statue has a painted finish that is well done and looks realistic.
The light itself is in the translucent honey pot and looks great at night.
The only thing to note is that the solar panel is located on the backside of the statue, which can make it tricky to figure out where to place it and how to orient it, to ensure it gets needed sunligh for the solar light to work at night.
When it gets sunlight all day the light burns all night long without issue.
